For those not familiar with Manny P he is originally from New York but moved to Florida to pursue his music career and test the grounds in a new market. His east coast background really comes out in his lyrics in his first mixtape "Foreshadowing Events". Manny P's lyrical content is sound. He isn't just rhyming he's attempting to tell a story. However, I feel that you miss a large part of the story because of poor beat selection. He does a pretty good job of appealing to both East Coast and Southern crowds. Some notable tracks are 1. Life's a bitch/ Bring it back, 9. Fit for the grind, 12. Lights please (Remix), and 19. Welcome to the jungle. he's not saving hip hop with this one but he definently has me intrested. I'm really looking foward to seeing whats next from Manny P.
